The ultra-low-cost Breeze Airways is back with some exciting news: the airline will launch 5 new routes throughout the summer months.

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s dive right in!

Summer 2024 Route Expansions From Breeze

Breeze will inaugurate nonstop flights from Akron (CAK), Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AVP) and Westchester County (HPN) to Myrtle Beach (MYR).

Additionally, Breeze will start nonstop service between Westchester and Portland (PWM) and resume service to Norfolk (ORF) and Jacksonville (JAX).

Lastly, Breeze will increase to 5x weekly service between Myrtle Beach and Hartford (BDL) on June 21 and 3x service between Westchester and Raleigh/Durham (RDU) from June 26.

Some routes, such as CAK-MYR and HPN-ORF, will operate seasonally this summer.

“This year we are focused on building on the solid foundation we have established in many of our key origin cities, especially on the East Coast,” said Tom Doxey, Breeze’s President.

This announcement comes amid an exciting few weeks for Breeze, the start-up airline founded by David Neeleman, who also founded JetBlue.

The airline recently announced that it would launch a base at Fort Myers’ Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in October. Breeze also added 5 new cities in a massive 11-route expansion late last month.

How To Book

Tickets for these routes are on sale and start at just $39 one-way. You must book by Tuesday, April 30 and travel by January 7, 2025. You’ll find some competitive deals, such as this $39 ticket between Akron and Myrtle Beach.

Just remember Breeze operates using à-la-carte pricing, which means you’ll pay extra for baggage and seat selection.

Breeze just launched its first credit card, the Breeze Easy™ Visa Signature® Credit Card. With it, you can earn up to 10x points on airline purchases, plus 2x points on eligible grocery store and restaurant purchases, including inflight food and beverages on Breeze.

However, this card only makes sense if you’re a Breeze loyalist. If you don’t fly with the airline, other options offer better benefits and rewards, like The Platinum Card® from American Express, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and Chase Sapphire Reserve®.

Hot Tip:

Breeze is also offering 35% off the base fare on round-trip flights when you use the promo “SNAPSHOT” at checkout until Thursday, April 25, at 11:59 p.m PT.

Final Thoughts

Breeze is back with another exciting route expansion, but this time, we’re seeing routes the airline previously axed being returned. Even better, prices are reasonably priced, which will give some competition to legacy airlines flying these routes.

If you’re interested in any of these new routes, make sure to book before the promotions end!
