Chase has updated the welcome offer earning potential with its $0-annual-fee Ink Business Cash® Credit Card.

Eligible applicants can take advantage of a new welcome bonus offer: Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 6 months.

This will be of particular interest to small business owners and entrepreneurs who are just getting started and want to maximize their business expenses — here are the details.

Chase’s New Welcome Offer on the Ink Business Cash Card

The Ink Business Cash card has a new welcome bonus offer: Earn $350 when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first 6 months.

All told, new cardholders could receive a total of up to $750 after 6 months of account opening should they hit both spending thresholds. This is an improvement from the previous welcome bonus offer, which had a shorter 3-month window to achieve the total $6,000 spending minimum required.

The cash back on the Ink Business Cash card is earned as Chase Ultimate Rewards points. Therefore, earning a total of $750 cash back is awarded as 75,000 Ultimate Rewards points.

That’s not all, though. Ink Business Cash card holders also have the chance of receiving a 10% bonus on all of the eligible cash-back they earned during the first card anniversary. The only prerequisite? Having an open Chase Business Checking account on the first anniversary of card ownership.

However, the 10% bonus is not applied to any spending you may have done to earn that welcome bonus offer.

Let’s say you have a Chase Business Checking account, and you earned a total of $5,000 cash back in the first year (outside of the welcome offer). You’d receive a bonus of $500 in rewards on completion of the first year — happy anniversary indeed!

All other cash-back-related rewards remain the same on the Ink Business Cash card:

  • 5% cash back on Internet, cable, phone services, and office supply stores (limited to $25,000 per year)
  • 2% cash back on spending at gas stations and at restaurants (limited to $25,000 per year)
  • 1% cash back on all other spending
Hot Tip:

The Ink Business Cash card is just 1 of several business cards by Chase. Examples include the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, which might be best suited for established business owners who are also frequent travelers. And for the big spenders, we’d recommend considering the Ink Business Premier® Credit Card with a powerful earning rate.

Final Thoughts

Chase’s new welcome offer for the Ink Business Cash card is more approachable for those getting started with their business. And with the new 10% Chase Business banking relationship bonus, now’s a great time to apply.
